Elli Ioannou is a Non-Executive and AML Director at Leon MFO Investments Ltd, bringing a wealth of legal and regulatory expertise to the Board.

In her capacity as Non-Executive Director, she provides independent oversight on strategic decision-making, governance practices, and operational performance, ensuring the company remains aligned with its objectives and regulatory obligations. As AML Director, she is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continually enhancing the firm’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT) framework. Her duties include, among others, overseeing the implementation of internal policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with local and EU regulatory requirements.

Elli holds both a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Corporate and Financial Law from the University of Wolverhampton, UK, and is a holder of the CySEC Advanced Certificate, reflecting her strong knowledge in the financial and investment services industry. Alongside her role at Leon MFO Investments Ltd, she is also Head of Corporate at a leading service provider firm, Wealthmore Services Ltd, where she manages complex corporate structures and supports an international client base. This dual role provides her with a well-rounded perspective that enhances her contribution to the company’s governance and compliance functions.
